Faculties

The Universidad de Santiago de Chile carries out an effective contribution to the country by means of the development of higher level professionals. The students, who enter the 63 careers that the University offers every year, are talented and dedicated, and they have a great motivation for knowledge.

A first level academic group, formed by an 80 percent of teachers with the degree of Doctor, Master or Specialized Physician, is in charge of the students’ academic formation as well as the development of research, science, technology, graduate programs and continuing education.

The University has seven Faculties: Engineering, Administration and Economics, Science, Chemistry and Biology, Medical Sciences, Humanities, Technological as well as the School of Architecture and the Bachelor’s Program.
